To mark World Book Day the Carnegie is hosting two children's events this Friday.
The first is a Story and Rhyme Time for the under 5's from 10.30-11.30
The second is a craft session for children of all ages from 15.30-17.00
This month the Carnegie Library Reading Group is reading Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. It tells the story of a young Nigerian woman who emigrates to the United States for a university education and stays for work.
