Lambeth UNISON’s Manifesto for Libraries
Lambeth Council are threatening to cut libraries. This will mean that Lambeth Libraries, which already have fewer staff and fewer books than the London average, could soon become even worse. Lambeth UNISON, which represents the library staff, has launched a Manifesto for Libraries.
You can help this campaign:
- Email your councillors to ask if they will support the Manifesto for Libraries. There’s an election this May, libraries should be an issue
- If you’re in a trade union, community group or faith group ask if they will support the Manifesto for Libraries. Contact us if you need any help, and to let us know what they decide.
- Join the Friends of Carnegie Library
